Just Like DiMaggio
My father-in-law Jim thinks that my family should aim to have as many girls in a row as Joe DiMaggio had hits. DiMaggio of course is best known for his 56-game hitting streak (May 15–July 16, 1941), a record that still stands. As I have explained, this new baby will be #23, meaning we are getting close to half of the DiMaggio record!

56 divided by 2 is 28. 23 is half-way to 46. i am embarrassed for all of you. this is just another example of shoddy journalism on so-called blog sites.
i'll be happy to have another little niece though. please try to be more careful with her than you are with your math skills.

I'm in Texas at Gina's. I must say that Molly OR Brian's comment put a smile on my face. Ya'll are so fun! (Don't tell me Ya'll is not a word-I make A's in English) When Sammy's sister gets here , we will get this streak of girls published everywhere--esp. in "Dear Abby" :)
